DE PERE (WGBA) -- Scray's Cheese in De Pere has been around since the 1920s. Making good cheese runs in the family.
"I think it is good because of my dad," said Kayla Scray, the manager of the store.
Good cheese is something Wisconsinites can't seem to live without. Their store us open, and many wrapped around the block in their cars waiting to pick up from their drive thru window.
"Business has been good," Scray said. "Right now we are focused on helping the farmers who help us. Right now we are doing the best we can.
Scray mentioned they only buy milk from local farmers. She said right now farmers have it hard trying to get people to buy milk. They face a fine if they dump it. Scray's goal is buy the milk, turn it into cheese curds and sell them. So far, that mission is working well.
"Everyone seems to still love them," Scray said. "We have had to reduce our prices, but we are trying to keep everything going."
