GREEN BAY (WGBA) -- Many of us are required to stay home to stay safe. But if you need essentials like food consider pizza delivery.

Glass Nickel Pizza is open. Like most local businesses in the area, Glass Nickel Pizza is adjusting to life during the corona virus.

“We're now competing with people we didn't really have to before. Bars that are offering delivery and carryout but also full dine-in restaurants. It's a challenge but we're hanging in there”, part owner Desiree Wescott says.

With business a bit slower, another part of her challenge includes finding hours for her employees.

“Still taking phone calls, doing carryouts some of them are actually driving, some of them still do kitchen shifts too we're just trying to keep a paycheck coming to them.We are a small business so everyone supporting just ensures that we can pay our employees and our staff”

Not only has Glass Nickel Pizza had to modify what they do in the kitchen, they've also had to modify how they do delivery as well.

"We're trying to avoid direct contact with our customers, so basically what we're doing is calling ahead letting them know we're going to be there and basically playing a game of ding-dong dine and ditch," delivery driver, Brian Neubauer said.

Its a win win situation, as employees avoid contact, and customers still get their pizza!
