Sprung into spring-like warmth: NBC 26 Weather Forecast - February 8, 2022 AM

Posted

Light snow fell overnight putting down a trace, with some slick spots on sidewalks and side roads, as we are waking up in the lower teens.

We will warm up above freezing today, with highs in the mid to upper 30s, alongside southwest winds around 5-15 mph with gusts near 22mph, under partly cloudy skies.

We will cool off to around 30 on Wednesday morning, with highs climbing back into the mid 30s by Wednesday afternoon, could bring a slight chance of a wintry mix and scattered snow showers.

Cooler air moves in Thursday, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower to mid 20s.

We will warm up into the mid to upper 30s again on Friday afternoon! But before that happens, some light snow will accumulate early in the day as a warm front sweeps through.

Cold air fills in behind this clipper with highs in the teens Saturday and Sunday.
