Snowfall will move in from the southwest and lift northeast throughout the afternoon. Temperatures will rise to the upper 20s and lower 30s. Snowfall will end early Wednesday and switch to a freezing drizzle, which may create a glaze of ice. Snow totals ranging from 2-5 inches, less by the lake of 1-2".
Wednesday night, a light band of snow showers may sweep through the area putting down around 1", mainly south of HWY 10.
There will be a small chance of snow showers or flurries on Thursday and Friday with highs in the 20s.
As we ring in the New Year, there is the potential on Saturday for a snow storm to hit us. Right now the track does range from getting little snow accumulation to seeing potentially the largest snow storm of the season thus far. Stay tuned for more details!
