It will be another very warm/hot and humid day with temperatures rising into the upper 80s and lower 90s. Winds will be breezy out of the southwest at 10-20 mph with gusts near 30 mph. There is a slight chance of pop up showers or thunderstorms with this air mass in place.

A better chance of showers and thunderstorms will occur Saturday. There are signs this could be a severe weather event capable of hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes across parts of Wisconsin. Right now central and western parts of the state have the highest risk of severe weather. Some models are showing signs of two waves of strong to severe storms.

The first wave would move through in the afternoon and then the second wave would move in later at night. Ahead of these storms will be muggy and hot conditions with highs in the lower 90s and dew points in the upper 60s.

Once the cold front moves by, the weather pattern calms down with highs in the lower 80s Sunday with mainly dry weather. Temperatures will be even cooler Monday with highs in the upper 70s under mostly sunny skies.
