We will have a few isolated rain and snow showers this evening as temperatures fall to near or below freezing under light northwest winds.
Sunday will be a better day with highs in the mid to upper 40s under light and variable winds with mostly cloudy skies. There may be some patchy dense fog in the morning.
Another weather system moves in tomorrow night into Monday. With temperatures falling below freezing during the overnight period, there will be a risk for some accumulating snowfall. In terms of how much, a dusting to 2-3 inches certainly seems possible. That being said, the models have been backing off on the intensity of the snowfall so if this trend continues, by this time tomorrow we may be talking about even lesser snowfall amounts.
Looking ahead to the rest of the week, not a very pretty work week. We will have one dry day (Tuesday) followed by another storm system that will being rain to the area Wednesday and Thursday. On the back side, some rain and snow showers are possible Friday.
Sunny weather returns on Saturday with highs in the 40s. If you are just tired of this cool half winter half spring kind of weather, the temperature trend looks warmer heading into the second full week of April with 50s on the return if everything holds together.
