Winter weather advisories remain in effect until 6am Wednesday.
Light to moderate snow will continue this evening but taper to light snow showers overnight with some wintry mix that includes freezing drizzle. Temperatures will warm to near 32-33 degrees before the cold front moves through. We will have totals between 2-4 inches for most areas.
Temperatures will fall through the day on our Wednesday. It will get down to the lower 20s by the afternoon with cooler wind chill values.
Highs on Thursday will be back to near 30 under mostly cloudy skies.
New Years Eve will be seasonally mild as well with highs around 30-31.
New Years Day will be one to watch since there will be some accumulating snowfall moving to the Midwest. Exactly where the snow tracks still remains the question for the time being. We should have a better handle on it within the next couple of days.
