A strong area of low pressure brought wet & windy conditions to the area on Thursday.
Enough cold air will wrap in behind this storm to change the rain showers over to a wintry mix or snow showers this morning.
After 7 straight days with above normal highs... a cold snap takes over today, lasting throughout the weekend, with upper 30s to lower 40s expected. There will be some more snow Saturday night & Sunday morning as an Alberta Clipper moves through. Some accumulating snow is likely. Mainly looking at a quick 1-2".
