Today we are waking up to mild temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s. Highs will hit the mid 30s, under mostly cloudy skies and breezy winds.
Tuesday is the shortest day of the year, with the Winter Solstice. As we bring in the new season, a clipper moves through bringing mainly chances of 1-2" of snow to but will the Northwoods. There is a chance some light snow showers may work their way south to near Highway 29, with less than 1/2" expected.
Skies will be mostly sunny on Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 20s.
An area of low pressure will begin moving in Thursday evening. There will be a chance of a wintry mix with temperatures in the mid 30s.
Rain showers will welcome us on Christmas Eve with highs around 40, making for a brown Christmas.
It will be slightly cooler on Christmas Day with highs in the lower to mid 30s.
