Believe it or not, we shattered our record all time December high temperature today, just after midnight we hit 65°! Ever since, winds have shifted to out of the west and are pulling in colder air, quickly. Temperatures will plummet to the low 20s and teens by tonight. Alongside winds that will remain gusty, up to 40mph at times. Which will make it feel like the 20s and teens all day long. Time to wear the parka again!
Peak winds reached overnight, gusted to 60mph in Ashwaubenon, resulting in snapped trees and a rough morning commute. The worst of it is behind us now, with the High Wind Warning expiring at 9am.
Colder air remains with us all week, with plenty of sunshine. The only chance for light snow is Friday PM to Saturday AM, with less than an inch expected.
