Today marks the 27th anniversary of the last time we hit 100°, back in 1995. With below average temperatures expected again today, highs will only climb to the upper 70s, under abundant sunshine.
Rain arrives Friday morning, with chances of a few thunderstorms mixed in. Anywhere from a 1/2" to 1" is expected to fall. Showers will wind down in the evening hours and temperatures will hit the upper 70s early, but remain in the 60s for a majority of the day.
The weekend has sunshine mixed with storm chances, plus rising humidity and temperatures. We will be back into the 80s, with 90s possible by next week.
