Cloudy & Warming: NBC 26 Weather Forecast - November 16, 2021 AM

Posted

We will see thickening clouds today with gusty southerly winds. A Gale Warning has been issued for Lake Michigan with waves expected to build to 12 feet high. These strong winds, sustained at 20mph and gusting to near 40mph is the reason afternoon highs will be in the low/mid 40s and will continue to climb during the evening. Keeping us above freezing overnight too! Chances for a few light sprinkles overnight are possible too, through early tomorrow morning.

Upper 40s to lower 50s are possible early Wednesday morning before a cold front brings our temperatures back down into the mid 40s Wednesday afternoon.

Highs will only be in the 30s on Thursday & Friday, with sunny skies.

The gun-deer season will kick off with cloudy skies & highs in the lower 40s. A sprinkle/flurry is possible.
