This morning our temperatures have fallen to -10° in the Fox Valley, with -25° in the Northwoods. A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for Langlade County until 10am for dangerous wind chills reaching -35°. Frostbite can occur within 25 minutes on exposed skin in those conditions.
With sunshine and gusty south winds up to 35mph, it will actually feel like single digits sub zero, even though the actual temperatures will rise to the teens.
Saturday we begin to actually feel better, with highs in the low 20s, and some light snow with less than an 1/2" expected to move out by the late morning. Gusty NW winds & colder temps will move in during the afternoon.
During the Packers game, temperatures will be COLD with sub zero wind chills. Layer up, cover exposed skin and pay attention for signs of hypothermia if you'll be attending the game. Stay warm in the Frozen Tundra! It'll be feeling like -5° to -15°!
Accumulating snow arrives on Monday followed by another batch of FRIGID temps Tuesday & Wednesday!
