A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect until noon today. It's feeling anywhere from -20 to -35 with gusty northwest winds. Actual air temperatures have dropped to -5 to -10. In these conditions, frost bite can occur in as little as 30 minutes. Also keep an eye out for signs of hypothermia, such as stiffness, confusion and fatigue.
The cold air does retreat Tuesday with temperatures in the lower 20s and then the lower 30s Wednesday through Friday.
We will be monitoring some snowfall by the end of the work week. Depending on the track, we could see several inches of snow.
