TITLETOWN (NBC26) — On Saturday, 12 teams from across the state headed to Titletown for the third annual Exceptional Abilities Challenge.
Each team played two games of flag football against a similarly skilled team. The Packers football outreach manager told us his favorite part of the day:
“A lot of the athletes it’s their first time in Green Bay, their first time in Titletown. So, to see those smiles and to have them have this experience and running around and competing is probably the highlight of the day,” Ryan Fencl, the Packers football outreach manager.
To complete their Packers experience, all athletes received a medal after their second game.
The event also served as a qualifier to compete in the Special Olympics State Tournament on October 8th.
