ASHWAUBENON (NBC 26) — Before the historic soccer match kicks off Saturday at Lambeau Field, one of the two teams featured in the match held a special clinic for local youth at Titletown.
Premier League Champions Manchester City hosted a free youth clinic in partnership with the Green Bay Packers Foundation. Club legends Pablo Zabaleta and Joleon Lescott gave tips and passed along years of knowledge to aspiring soccer players. They also signed autographs following the fun on the field.
Saturday night's match against Bayern Munich in front of a sold-out crowd at Lambeau Field will mark the wrap-up of Manchester City's U.S. tour. It is their second and final match of the tour.
This weekend's match marks the first time a soccer game will be played at Lambeau Field. Fans from 19 different countries will be in attendance, as well as from all 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Guam, and Washington, D.C.
The start time is scheduled for 6 p.m. with the match being televised on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
