Wisconsin swim coach, Melissa Wolf, is one of the best coaches in the state.

"I think the way that she approached is kind of a game-changer," swimmer Sam Bork said.

"For them to all have sustained success through all these years I think that's a testament to her coaching ability and longevity," her son Enoch Thielhelm said.

In June, she sent two swimmers to the U.S. Olympic trials, but it's her coaching style that stands out the most.

"There's no secret other than it starts with caring; she's wholesomely found ways to make us better because she cares about us," Bork said.

"I would say it's similar to my parenting style because the first thing you have to do is love the kids," Melissa Wolf said. "Treat them the say way I'd treat my kids."

The way she treats her kids? With love and respect. She has four kids, two of whom have special needs.

"I wanted to help my kids become everything they can be and I don't know what I gave up but it wasn't important as the goal I had. I saw the potential in all the kids and that is what I wanted," Wolf said.

"She proved that you don't have to choose between a family and career that you can really have both of them," Thielhelm said.
