OSHKOSH (WGBA) -- Wisconsin Herd forward Leon Gilmore is joining a trend across the NBA: he's changing his No. 24 in honor of Kobe Bryant, who passed away in a helicopter crash on Sunday.

Gilmore and the rest of the Herd honored Bryant Thursday with a video tribute and moment of silence prior to their first home game since his death.

Wisconsin lost to the College Park Skyhawks 126-118 Thursday.
