The Milwaukee Bucks have made some more moves on their basketball operations staff ahead of the 2017-18 season, including promoting Dave Dean to Vice President of Basketball Operations/General Manager of the Wisconsin Herd, the Bucks' G-league affiliate in Oshkosh.
Dean, a Greendale, Wis., native, started his NBA career as a Bucks public relations intern in 2001. In 2002, he was promoted to Player Personnel/Scouting Assistant and has spent the past nine seasons as Milwaukee's Director of Basketball Administration. Dean also graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2000.
"Dave has been a trusted colleague during my tenure with the bucks and will be a great resource as we begin our G-league team operations in Oshkosh," Bucks GM Jon Horst said in a statement.
In addition to Dean, Ryan Hoover was named Vice President of Global Scouting and Matt Bollero the Director of Scouting.
