GREEN BAY, Wis. — The long-anticipated match-up between the Wisconsin Badgers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Lambeau Field has been rescheduled for September 5, 2026.
The game was originally scheduled for last season, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as the Big Ten did not play any non-conference games in 2020.
The two teams will play this upcoming season at Solider Field in Chicago. That game is scheduled for September 25 at 11:00 a.m.
The announcement for the 2026 game came on Twitter Monday, as the two teams had a fun back-and-forth on Twitter. The Packers then swooped in to make the official announcement.
Alright then, it’s settled. You guys can BORROW @LambeauField on September 5, 2026.

The Badgers have played only one game at Lambeau Field in their history: September 3, 2016, when they upset then-No. 5 LSU, jump-starting a memorable season that ended with a Cotton Bowl victory.
