Four Fox Valley Assocation boys basketball teams won their sectional semifinal matchups on Thursday, but won't get a chance to go to state as the WIAA has canceled both the boys and girls state basketball tournaments amid growing concerns over coronavirus.
Kimberly and Neenah both won on Thursday and would have played each other Saturday with the winner advancing to state. The Papermakers and Rockets split their two regular season meetings.
Kaukauna and Hortonville also advanced to the sectional final round, on opposite sides of the bracket.
Wrightstown beat Xavier on Wednesday to advance.

The status of the WIAA state tournament was in question at the time of these games, as the Kohl Center made the decision Thursday not to host the event amid coronavirus concerns.
WIAA leaders met Thursday night and made the decision to cancel next weekend's boys tournament and the remainder of the girls tournament.
