DE PERE, Wis. (WGBA) -- St. Norbert College and Ripon College will face off in the Midwest Conference championship game, with the winner receiving an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Tourament.
The Green Knights and Red Hawks both notched semifinal wins on Friday night at the Mulva Family Fitness and Sports Center on St. Norbert's campus. SNC topped Cornell College 89-75, while Ripon beat defending champion Lake Forest 82-51.
Saturday's game will be the third meeting of the season between the two rivals, with each team winning one of the previous matchups. Ripon is the only Midwest Conference team to beat St. Norbert so far this season; the Red Hawks upset the Green Knights 70-52 in De Pere on January 25.
