Appleton native Schommer helps lead US biathlon team to historic finish

Schommer anchor the US team to a 7th place finish, its best ever in the mixed relay event.

BEIJING (NBC 26) — Appleton native Paul Schommer anchored the United States biathlon team to a 7th place finish in the mixed relay on Saturday.

It was team USA's highest finish ever in that event, besting an 8th place mark eight years ago in Sochi.

WHAT. A. RACE.
