GREEN BAY, Wis. — Aaron Rodgers was at the Packers practice Thursday, he just wasn't taking part.
The Packers quarterback missed yet another practice. This time it was a toe injury keeping him out for a second straight day.
Rodgers also missed ten days from earlier this month due to COVID-19. He hasn't had a "true practice" since October 22, the Friday before the Packers hosted Washington at Lambeau Field.
"Ideally you'd have everybody out there - all 11 that are going to be playing in the game - but that's just not the reality of our league," Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Thursday.
"Unfortunately it's really the first time in my tenure here that we've had to deal with this," LaFleur added. "Ultimately we've got to try to do what's best to get the guys to Sunday and so that's just where we're at."
Despite the lack of practice, Rodgers said he is "definitely playing" Sunday as the Packers take on the Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium.
