LOUISVILLE (NBC 26) — Aaron Rodgers is "disappointed" news of his rift with Packers management has come to light, and said he loves Green Bay, Packers fans and the Packers franchise.
That's according to Mike Tirico of NBC Sports. Tirico reported during NBC's Kentucky Derby coverage that he spoke with Rodgers, who is at the event in Louisville.
"He expressed a couple of times how much he loves Green Bay, loves the fans, loves the franchise. There is a chasm between management and the reigning NFL MVP. We're just not sure how this is going to play out."

"There is a chasm between management and the reigning NFL MVP," Tirico said. "We're just not sure how this will play out."
Tirico said Rodgers did not want to talk on camera.
On Thursday, it was reported that Rodgers wants to be traded from Green Bay amid tensions with the front office dating back to the selection of quarterback Jordan Love in the first round of last year's draft.
The Packers have continually said they will not trade the reigning MVP.
