GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — A week after he announced his return to the franchise, Aaron Rodgers has signed a four-year contract extension with the Green Bay Packers valued at over $150M, according to Ian Rapoport.
The Packers confirmed the contract extension Tuesday but did not go into details of the deal.
After a week of going back and forth with the #Packers, Aaron Rodgers’ complicated contract pays him $50M per year over 3 years — $150M. Plus there are two low-money option years that will be replaced. https://t.co/VlnbubjhxY

According to Rapoport, Rodgers gets paid $50M per year for three years, which would put him at age 41. If he keeps playing after the third year, they'll renegotiate.

Essentially, Aaron Rodgers gets $50M per year over 3 years, then likely retires. If he keeps playing, those final two years (on a 4-year extension, 5 years total) will be redone. https://t.co/CVTXfrKSUE
This comes after a long-awaited decision on Rodgers's future after losing in the post-season to the San Francisco 49ers.
