The San Francisco 49ers reached out to the Green Bay Packers about a potential trade for Aaron Rodgers, according to a report.
NFL Network reports an official offer was never made and there is a "zero percent chance" the Packers deal the reigning MVP.

The 49ers have the No. 3 overall pick in the draft. That pick presumably would have been the cornerstone piece in the trade, though the conversation never reached that point.
Packers GM Brian Gutekunst said earlier this week Rodgers will be the Packers quarterback for the "foreseeable future."
