The Packers made a series of roster moves Tuesday including the placement of a key kick returner and backup wide receiver on injured reserve.

The team gave Trevor Davis that designation after he was a late scratch for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears. He had a hamstring injury which Coach Mike McCarthy said was an issue over the weekend.

The Packers also released Milwaukee native and Oak Creek High School alumnus Marwin Evans from the practice squad.

In return, the team picked up cornerback Deante Burton off waivers from Atlanta and signed cornerback Will Redmond to the practice squad.

Burton, who will wear No. 39, was with Atlanta's practice squad in all of 2017 and was moved to the active roster for week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles before being waived.

Redmond, who will wear No. 25, battled knee and ankle injuries with the San Francisco 49ers in 2016 and the first half of 2017. He was with the Chiefs' practice squad for the second half of 2017 and was let go by the Chiefs on September 1.
