GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Join Downtown Green Bay, Inc for a Packers Pep Rally at the Heritage Trail Plaza 3:30 p.m. Friday.

"We are here to get the crowd fired up for the big game on Sunday," said Kathryn Kroll, marketing manager for Downtown Green Bay, Inc. " It's our little slice of gameday in Downtown Green Bay. We have got tons of people here, the crowd's going to super fired up, and it's just a great community feel."

The whole Pep Rally event will be hosted by Frank from 'Let Me Be Frank Productions'. Kroll says they're going to have appearances from Mayor Genrich, Mark Murphy, and Green Bay Preble pep band and drumline. She says the Salvation Army will also be there passing out free hot chocolate.

In addition, there are also restaurant gift cards, different prize packages, and great goodies donated from the Packers they will be giving away.

Kroll mentions how they are hoping Downtown employees can sneak out of work a little early to participate in the spirit contest. The employees will bring their best cheer squads to see who has the best 'Go Pack Go'.

Heritage Trail Plaza is located near the intersection of N. Washington and Cherry Streets.
