GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- A dream of a lifetime came true Monday.
Kari Bernier was named the 22nd member of the Green Bay Packers' Fan Hall of Fame during a ceremony at Lambeau Field. She was selected by fans from a group of ten finalists. Bernier is a lifelong Packers fan who was born in Milwaukee.
On Monday, she talked about what makes this all so special to her.
"But what it came down to was my name engraved at Lambeau. It's just, it's just unbelievable. It's just unbelievable,” said Bernier. “I just want people to know how amazing Packers are. They're owned by the fans, everything about that. So, when it comes down to it, and it's game time, things get a little tricky there. Because I'm going to be a fan no matter what. No matter what the score is."
As this year's winner, Bernier receives club seats to a Packers game. A $500 Packers Pro Shop gift card and a road trip to an away game.
