GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Aaron Rodgers says "there will be no news today or decision on my future" while appearing on the Pat McAfee Show.

While Rodgers normally appears on the show every Tuesday during the season, he doesn't regularly appear during the offseason. This particular Tuesday appearance comes amid speculation about the Green Bay Packers quarterback's future.

You can watch the appearance in the video below. WARNING: The live stream may contain profanity.

Monday night, Rodgers issued an Instagram post thanking current and former teammates.

Rodgers said after the season that he would try to make a decision about his 2022 plans in relatively short order rather than dragging out the process.

The four-time MVP hadn’t ruled out any option, including returning to the Packers for an 18th season, retiring, or requesting a trade.

There was offseason turmoil surrounding whether Rodgers wanted to play in Green Bay. The commotion continued in the regular season over Rodgers’ vaccination status -- he missed one game when testing positive for COVID-19 and needing a 10-day quarantine after earlier saying he had been “immunized.”

But he pretty much shrugged it off and wound up throwing for 37 touchdowns, a league-low seven interceptions, an NFL-high 111.9 passer rating, while also dealing with a toe injury that limited his mobility.
