Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo sustained a hyperextended left knee and will be listed as doubtful for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals tomorrow night at Fiserv Forum, the Bucks said in a statement.
The injury occurred in the third period of the Bucks’ Game 4 loss at Atlanta last night.
According to the Bucks, Antetokounmpo underwent an MRI and subsequent examination today by team physician Dr. Carole Vetter of the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network. The MRI confirmed the earlier diagnosis.
There is no structural damage to Giannis Antetokounmpo's left knee after his awkward landing last night in Atlanta; ligaments are sound, sources tell @ZachLowe_NBA and me. Timetable to return is unclear.

With about 4 minutes left in the third quarter, Giannis jumped up to contest a play at the rim and grabbed his knee right away when he fell.
The Bucks star then walked to the locker room, walked back to the bench for several minutes, and then returned to the locker room.
