MADISON (NBC 26) — One of the most historic basketball programs in Wisconsin is on top again.
Neenah beat Brookfield Central 64-52 in Saturday's WIAA Division 1 state championship, claiming the school's first state title since 1978.
The Rockets have 28 total state tournament appearances, the most of any team in the WIAA.

Senior guard Chevalier Emery, Jr. led the Rockets with 19 points and also added five assists. After scoring only two points in the semifinal, UW-Oshkosh commit Carter Thomas chipped in 15 points. Big man J.J. Paider added 14 and a game-high 18 rebounds.
The Rockets finish the season 29-1 and on a 27-game winning streak.
