GREEN BAY — Coming into the the state tournament, the No. 2 Freedom Irish have dominated every single opponent in their playoff run. No team has come within 20 points of the Irish.
On Thursday afternoon in their first-round matchup against No. 3 St. Croix Falls, that didn't change. The Irish obliterated them 66-36 to advance to the state title game against No. 1 Waupun on Saturday.
Freedom junior guard Sadie Jarmolowicz had a game-high 22 points and junior forward Kierstin Kriewaldt added a double-double, 12 points and 11 rebounds.
