The De Pere boys are now in control of the Fox River Classic Conference after a stunning win over Notre Dame 60-58. Sophomore center Will Hornseth hit a last-second shot to give the Redbirds the win.

With the game tied at 58 and only 1.2 seconds left, the De Pere had to go the length of the floor. Gabe Herman, who is also the quarterback of their football team, threw a perfect pass to Hornseth who took one dribble and scooped a shot off the rim and in.

De Pere now has a 1.5 game lead in the FRCC with just two games to play.

The Notre Dame girls clinched the Fox River Classic Conference with a big 61-60 win over De Pere Tuesday night.
