GREEN BAY, Wis. — Two Packers were selected for the 2019 Pro Bowl in Orlando: WR Davante Adams and QB Aaron Rodgers.
Left tackle David Bakhtiari, defensive tackle Kenny Clark and center Corey Linsley were named alternates.
This year, Adams has racked up 100 catches for 1,315 yards and 12 touchdowns with two games to play. His 12 touchdowns are tied for second in the NFL this season so far. This is Adams' second Pro Bowl selection after being an injury replacement in 2018.
The Packers and their quarterback may not have had the best year, but Rodgers still filled out a strong stat sheet: 3,974 passing yards, 23 touchdowns, two interceptions and a 97.2 passer rating.
Rodgers was selected for the seventh time in his career (2009, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016), which is second-most for a Packers passer behind Brett Favre's nine Pro Bowls. Rodgers has 20-plus touchdowns and two or fewer picks in the first 14 games of the season for the first time in his storied career, and he's the third NFL quarterback ever to achieve that mark dating back to 1950.
