The death of George Floyd has touched thousands of Americans, including Packers lineman, Billy Turner.
"It definitely hit close to home because it happened a few miles away," Turner said in an exclusive with NBC26.
As one of the vocal leaders of the green and gold, he also addressed members of the team about the recent events.
"We just had a conversation. Our coach started it off and give his view on the situation and we were given the opportunity to give our peace," Turner said.
We're still a few weeks away from hearing Turner's voice on the field, but in the mean time, through his social platforms, he's making sure you can hear his voice, loud and clear.
