New this year, families are invited to Ashwaubenon for the Ashwaubomay Lake Luau Party. Guests will get to enjoy a variety of themed games, prizes throughout the day and relax on the shore or take a swim in the lake.
The event runs from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. with games running about every hour.
There are three other events happening in Northeast Wisconsin all happening in July. The next event will be at Doyle Pool in Little Chute on July 12th. This will be a nighttime swim event with Doyle Pool to show the movie, "How to Train Your Dragon 3," for a fun "dive-in" movie. The pool is offering free pool admission for the evening and activities. The fun gets started at 6:30 p.m. The movie begins at dusk and everyone attending will get free popcorn during the showing.
Then on July 17th there will be another luau-filled time at the Kaukauna Municipal Pool from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. The event includes an on-site DJ as well as dance instructors giving Hawaiian dance lessons throughout the day. The pool features an inflatable obstacle course with other Hawaiian-themed games and activities. Guests can enter Unison’s summer giveaway and you may get one of the concession vouchers Unison will be handing out.
The final one is at Plamann Lake in Grand Chute on July 24th. Everyone will be able to try something new like kayaking or paddleboard. The equipment will be free from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes some quick lessons before hitting the water!
