The Sears store at Fox River Mall in Appleton is on the list of 80 Sears and Kmart stores that will be closing in March of next year.
The announcement came on the same day that Sears faced a deadline to find a seller for the company as part of its bankruptcy.
The 80 locations that will close in March is in addition to 40 locations that are scheduled to be shuttered in February.

Friday afternoon, CNBC reported that Sears chairman, Eddie Lampert, submitted a bid in an effort to buy the retailer and keep it alive.
