A third name has been linked to the Packers' head coaching vacancy, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport: Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald.
The #Packers have interest in interviewing Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald, sources say, and the connections are clear. This could be the one time Fitzgerald takes the interview. From this article https://t.co/2F75irh9f4 pic.twitter.com/V2NhOovkTM

Fitzgerald joins former head coaches Chuck Pagano and Jim Caldwell as coaches the Packers have shown interest in. Rapoport reported the Packers may interview 10 to 12 candidates for the job.
Team president and CEO Mark Murphy named Fitzgerald the head coach at Northwestern in 2006 when he was the Wildcats' athletic director.
No interview likely has taken place yet as Fitzgerald and No. 22 Northwestern prepare for the Holiday Bowl Dec. 31 against No. 17 Utah.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Fitzgerald previously addressed reports linking him to Green Bay "with a text of 'Go Cats!' and 'I don't discuss rumors.'"
