OSHKOSH (NBC 26) -- A new grant program will soon be open for small businesses in Wisconsin.

The state's 'We're All In' grant will provide $2,500 for up to 30,000 businesses in the state.

“For a lot of businesses it might be that little bit of money that just helps get them through the next couple months or that little bit that they’re falling behind right now," Greater Oshkosh Economic Development Corporation's Tricia Rathermel said.

The application period begins Monday, June 15 and goes through Sunday, June 21. To be eligible, a business must be Wisconsin-based, employ 20 or fewer full-time workers, and earn less than $1 million in annual revenue.

To apply, businesses need a 2019 or 2018 federal tax form, a signed W-9 form, and a letter of acknowledgment from a community organization like a local economic development corporation or chamber of commerce.

Rathermel hopes that the grant will be easy to apply for and distributed quickly.

“There are people out there to help," she said. "So if you’re feeling alone, call out to your local chamber, call out to your local economic development corporation, the small business development centers are really great to be able to help find opportunities like the We’re All In Grant.”
