OSHKOSH, Wis. — This week begins restaurant week in Oshkosh!

The 2nd annual Oshkosh Restaurant Week offers great meal deals for folks looking to discover new places and flavors in the Oshkosh area.

Participating restaurants offer a $11 Breakfast, $13 three-course Lunch option and a $26 three-course Dinner option.

This year the lunch and dinner options are a dollar more which will then be donated to Eat for Art in Oshkosh which will support community art projects.

Last year, 17 restaurants participated, but due to the growing success more restaurants came forward this year to be apart of the week-long event. Marketing Manager with Oshkosh Convention and Visitors Bureau, Justin Dejager, says they expect to have even more businesses get involved come 2020. Dejager adds that the first year they didn't do a lot of tracking on the economic impact from the event, but thanks to a $15,000 grant from the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, he says they hope to do more and see the event have more success in the future.

Food lovers can check out any of the 25 restaurants from Thursday, January 24th to Wednesday, January 30th. Reservations are recommended.

Our Emily Beier spent the first day of Restaurant Week with Fox River Brewing Company in Oshkosh getting a preview of their menu.
