Transformation House held its Feed the Homeless and Community Barbeque Saturday afternoon.
Many people came out to St. John's park in Green Bay for what organizers call a grand meal access to community resources and a day of relaxation.
Transformation House also gave away school supplies with kids getting ready to head back.
"Not only am i thinking about the food that we eat, you know, but that spiritual food. You know, when you're around people that care about you. And want to just show the love and good music and good atmosphere does a lot," said Pastor Manuelus Reacco, Transformation House.
Reacco says the house tries to encourage, “Men to be men,” by giving them shelter at an affordable rate, as well as nurturing their spiritual, educational and social development.
