Three people have died and two are critically injured after a crash involving a wrong-way driver in the Town of Green Bay.
On Friday, Brown County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-car crash on STH 57 south of CTH DK.
Investigators found Todd J. Beyer, 38, of Green Bay, had been driving the wrong way, entering the highway coming down the STH 57 off ramp and causing the vehicles to crash head-on.
Beyer hit a car with four people inside. The two passengers in the backseat, Ila M. Schabow, 84, and Lynn M. Eckes, 56, both of Appleton, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to deputies.
Kristen M. Eckes was driving the car and Kenneth M. Eckes was a passenger in the front seat. Both were both brought to Aurora Hospital with critical injuries but are recovering. The four were heading to a family wedding.
Beyer was brought to Aurora Hospital via Eagle III and pronounced dead at the hospital.
