A favorite attraction is returning to Green Bay. On Tuesday, leaders announced the Tall Ships Festival will return next summer to the Port Of Green Bay and Leicht Memorial Park.
“At least seven ships will be on display, as well as the six-story tall rubber duck,” said Holly Williams, with PMI Entertainment Group. "People don't really think of the Green Bay waterfront when they think of Green Bay, so it's events like this that really bring attention to our waterfront and what great things we're doing downtown Green Bay to get exposure around the world."
Organizers say they expect more than 60,000 people to attend.
They estimate the festival will pump $4.3 million into the local economy.
The Tall Ships Festival is set for next July 26-28, 2019.
