Sheboygan police arrest suspect in hit-and-run that injured 60-year-old

Police in Sheboygan have arrested a driver who allegedly hit a 60-year-old cyclist and kept going.

Police arrested the suspect, a 41-year-old man from Fredonia, on Wednesday and took him to the Sheboygan County Detention Center for a probation violation.

The vehicle used in the hit-and-run was recovered in Milwaukee, police said in a news release.

Surveillance video shoes the vehicle involved. Investigators say the victim was found lying in the road early Sunday morning near 8th and Spring.

She was flown to the hospital with serious injuries, where she remains in critical condition as of Thursday.
