An Amber Alert has been issued for Dorian L. Giesen, 2 months, who is a 1 foot, 11 inch tall Caucasian boy with brown hair, blue eyes and weighs 9 pounds.

He was last seen at 4 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of George and Bronson roads in Wisconsin Rapids.

The Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was investigating a possible child neglect/abuse case and was attempting to check the well-being of Giesen.

Officers attempted to contact the child’s mother, Haley N. Pelot, 28. A vehicle pursuit began and eventually was terminated when Pelot threatened physical harm to Dorian.

The child has a life-threatening medical condition that requires medication multiple times per day. It is believed that the mother does not have the medication with her, so officers say the child requires immediate medical attention.

Pelot is a 5 foot, 1 inch tall Caucasian woman with brown hair and hazel eyes who weighs 120 pounds. She has a flower tattoo on the left side of her ribs, "Hales" on her neck, a tribal rose on one of her legs and two hearts on her back.

She's driving a 2002 silver Toyota Camry sedan with a black front bumper and Wisconsin license plate AHY 5345.

Those with information are asked to call the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department at 715-421-8701.
