Day one of the Packers Training Camp kicked off today with fans ready for an action-packed season.
Some fans, like Deb Reed, said they went to training camp to celebrate a special occasion.
"We decided it's our 35th wedding anniversary and my birthday, it's time to go," said Reed.
For others, coming to training camp is simply a family tradition.
"We come here almost every single year," said Kolby Sholly,
Fans traveled from all over to see their team including Iowa, Missouri, Alabama, Nebraska, and, of course, home fans right here in Wisconsin.
Fans said it's exciting to celebrate the team.
"It's very cool that we get the opportunity to. And that, you know, the Packers do this for us, that, you know, we're able to be here and, you know, experience it," said Amy Kolbe who was watching practice with her family.
Some Cheeseheads going to their first training were in awe.
"It's exciting. So much to take in, and you're looking around and watching everything going on. And that bicycle ride, that is so cool," said Reed.
Fans said they only have one final game in mind for this year's team.
"We're always looking for raising a Lombardi Trophy, but I mean, I'd be perfectly happy with winning the NFC North. And I always love watching the Vikings, and the Bears and Lions lose," said Sholly.
The Packers practice again on Friday, July 27 at 11:30 a.m., and on Saturday at 11:15 a.m. at Ray Nitschke Field.
