UPDATE: The Hobart/Lawrence Police Department have identified the victims of a double homicide.

The victims have been identified as 63-year-old Heesun Teague (Sunny) of Hobart and 25-year-old Sabrina O. Teague of Hobart.

Another Hobart man, Joel A. Kennedy, was also injured during the incident. Kennedy was taken to a local hospital where he underwent surgery for his stab wounds and is expected to survive.

Police say they responded to a weapons report Tuesday night when they discovered it was a "serious and large scale scene".

They found Sabrina Teague deceased outside the home, and as they cleared the home, they found Joel Kennedy alive inside, with stab wounds to his chest and arms.

They also found Heesun Teague deceased in the bathroom of the home.

The officers searched the exterior of the home and found the suspect, 26-year-old Jacob P. Cayer, hiding in the rear wooded area of an adjacent property. Cayer was taken under control with the help of a K-9 and then taken into custody and transported to a hospital for treatment.

The weapon believed to be used during the attack (a knife) has been recovered.

Police believe Cayer is an ex-boyfriend of Sabrina Teague. According to Facebook, Kennedy and Sabrina are in an active relationship. Police have yet to state a clear motive at this point.

The investigation is ongoing and is expected to be lengthy. Investigators say they'll be on the scene for the rest of the week, at least.

Cayer appeared in court Thursday afternoon, but was not formally charged. He is being held on a $5 million cash bond. The District Attorney asked for more time to get the criminal complaint ready.

Police say they're expecting charges of First Degree Intentional Homicide. But prosecutors are making it clear: ore charges could come with the evidence.
