GREEN BAY, Wis. — Students at Red Smith school in Green Bay, are honing their skills to be a scientist.
From kindergarten all the way to the eighth grade class, Red Smith hosted their annual science fair with dozens of booths showcasing some of the best science projects around.
"When everyone comes together, and is really excited about a topic, everyone can learn something from everyone else," said eighth grader Jenny Luczaj.
Eighth grader Luczaj is graduating this year, and said she's grateful to be a part of something important, "I learned a lot while doing this, I helped last year and this year."
The passion for science, seen in every student at the fair, from the life cycle of a flower to the science of sugar crystals.
"This is a hydraulics system, every control you input here goes through the tube and pushes the water into the pipes and feels really fluid and easy to move," Terry Auger science fair coordinator.
With the motivation to learn, these students may one day even launch a career in science!
